Judas Priestess Live at Break Away II

The world’s only ALL-GIRL tribute to the Metal Gods, JUDAS PRIEST and the #1 female tribute band in hard rock and heavy metal!!

JUDAS PRIESTESS, the world’s 1st and only All Girl Tribute to the Metal Gods (Judas Priest) is a rock phenomenon! Based out of NYC and formed a year and half ago, Judas Priestess is a striking group of leather and chain clad, head banging and talented women rockers has created a world-wide reputation, complete with rave reviews from music critics, adoring fans, and has the blessing of the Metal God himself, Judas Priest front man, Rob Halford (on VH1 Classic’s popular “That Metal Show”). KK Downing, legendary Judas Priest founder and guitarist, featured this all-girl group on the 3rd Anniversary of his Steel Mill website, which called them “metal’s top female tribute”.

The following excerpt is taken from the Judas Priestess concert review in the Aquarian 12/2/09, from their very first show in November, 2009: “The five-piece that took the packed Pony on a glorious tour of the Stained Class kids’ best hits, misses and anthems, pausing long enough to get you used to the ringing in your ears before continuing their aural blitzkrieg. Well-executed songs, top-shelf musicianship (these girls are better than most dudes in the biz) and killer presence caught my attention quick”.

Their dazzling performances have firmly established JUDAS PRIESTESS as one of the most acclaimed and top ranking bands in the greater New York area because these women explode through the classic hits and deep album cuts of the undisputed masters of metal: Judas Priest — and word gets around! The legendary Stone Pony, in Asbury Park, NJ, is where the band made its debut (during a hurricane) and to commemorate their First Anniversary, the Stone Pony presented JUDAS PRIESTESS with a custom-made “metal horns” trophy.

Amongst their many shows, JUDAS PRIESTESS has performed with Twisted Sister at Dee Snider’s BIKERS FOR BABIES charity rally in Long Island, NY (2010) and they recently opened up for the legendary group Pentagram. They are pleased to have organized a Christmas Toy Drive for the Coalition for the Homeless last December. The group has recently become very popular in the South. In Spring 2011, Cape Fear Harley Davidson sponosed JUDAS PRIESTESS’ performance at North Carolina’s Rock Shop Music Hall, and immediately followed that date as the headline attraction opening weekend at Myrtle Beach Bike Week in South Carolina. It was a triumphant return for the band at Suck Bang Blow 4 Corners- Myrtle Beach Bike Week is one of the top four biker events in the U.S.A. with over 300,000 people from around the world attending. At Harley Bike Week, the band was such a hit that they scored the cover of The Sun News KICKS! section (June 17, 2011) in an article about the world’s best tribute bands that perform in the international tourist mecca of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
